Plowboys Yardbird BBQ Rub, PF02008, 14 OZ

The heart of Plowboys BBQ is competition-style BBQ. It began in 2001 when Todd Johns and his brother-in-law, Randy Hinck, started the competition team Pork Pullin Plowboys. For the next six years, Todd and Randy traveled all over the country participating in competitions, perfecting their craft and learning what makes truly great BBQ. (Hint: it’s all about low and slow.) Yardbird rub was developed for competition BBQ but for those of us that are just backyard BBQ geeks, it gives us the chance to produce great BBQ. This savory rub has a touch of sweetness that is followed by a little heat on the back of the tongue! Created for chicken, but made for pork.
