Calving Supplies

Calving season is upon us! January through March is the most common time for calving so be prepared for the months to come and stock up on what you need for before, during, and after calving. Some items to consider could include OB gloves, OB Sleeves, OB Chains, or straps to help in assisting the birth. After birth, colostrum is the first milk and very important for a calf to receive. Some calves may not be ready to nurse right away so we have colostrum supplements and milk replacer to assist. Your readiness before the season starts will help the success and survival rate of your calves.
