PART-TIME CASHIERS (Evenings/Weekends)
Bomgaars is seeking friendly, outgoing individuals with Cashier experience to fill positions on evenings and weekends. Cashier positions offer the opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Cashier experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - evenings and weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, debit/credit cards, and checks)
- Scan, bag items, and issue receipts for customers
- Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
- Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions
- Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
- Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required.
Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour
