FULL-TIME DEPARTMENT LEAD (Sporting Goods/Power Equipment)
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual to fill a Department Lead position. The individual will oversee the operations of the Sporting Goods department, to include Firearms, and the Power Equipment department. Prefer the individual has supervisory experience and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older and subject to pre-employment screening/applicable background check
- Product knowledge - sporting goods, firearms, and power equipment (mowers, tillers, snowblowers)
- ATF Compliance and sale of new firearms general knowledge/experience
- Administrative skills to handle paperwork, pricing, and record keeping
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, and rotating weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling/Forklift operation/Merchandising the sales floor
- Sales/Cashier/Recovery
- Ensure departments are clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
- Other tasks as assigned
Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with a comprehensive Benefit package.
