SEASONAL SALES ASSOCIATES
Bomgaars is seeking friendly, customer service oriented individuals wanting summer employment. Sales Associate positions available in the Lawn & Garden department.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Product knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling/forklift operation (varying weather conditions)
- Sales/Stocking
- Maintain the nursery area (watering, weeding, fertilizing, and repotting as needed)
- Cashier/Handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, debit/credit cards, and checks)
- Scan, bag items, and issue receipts for customers
- Ensure department/store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
- Other tasks as assigned
Starting wage is $13.50 per hour
