PART-TIME CASHIER (Weekends)
Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier experience to work weekend schedules. Cashier positions offer an opportunity to be a productive team member while provising excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Cashier experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - Saturdays and Sundays (shift premium paid for working on weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, debit/credit cards, and checks)
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
- Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
- Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
- Handling phone calls
Starting Wage is $12.50 per hour
