In preparing for the new store opening, Bomgaars is seeking a motivated individual with forklift and receiving experience. The position is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and to be a productive team member.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Agriculture background
- Product knowledge
- Computer skills preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Detail oriented
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - mostly day shifts with occasional weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling, receive packages, and distribution
- Forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks (varying weather conditions)
- Process company vendor buybacks, defectives, special orders, and raincheck items (includes customer notifications)
- Keep Receiving bay organized
- Assembly of products as needed
- Sales
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Other tasks as assigned
