FULL-TIME OUTSIDE LUMBER YARD MANAGER
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with lumber yard management experience to join the team in the Building Center at Spirit Lake, IA.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Product knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Management and working in a fast-paced, full scale lumber yard experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations of the lumber yard to be profitable
- Freight handling
- Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment
- Deliver materials to job sites
- Assisting customers with product selection and loadouts
- Handling phone calls
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
