FULL-TIME LUMBER YARD ASSOCIATE
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated and responsible individual with lumber sales and estimating experience. Join the Building Center team at Spirit Lake, IA.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Product knowledge
- Proficient in operating freight handling equipment
- Working in a fast-paced, full scale lumber yard experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days and weekends as needed (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling/forklift operation to load and unload lumber using appropriate equipment
- Ensure lumber is well stocked and organized
- Deliver lumber to job sites
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
- Adhere to all Safety guidlines and OSHA regulations
- Other tasks as assigned
