FULL-TIME SPORTING GOODS DEPARTMENT LEAD
Bomgaars is seeking to hire a responsible, motivated individual as a Department Lead in the Sporting Goods department. Prefer individual has Supervisory experience as well as firearms and sporting goods merchandise knowledge. Position offers an opportunity to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older and subject to an applicable background check
- ATF Compliance and sale of new firearms knowledge/experience
- Administrative and computer skills to handle paperwork and record keeping, understanding Inventory Control
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling/forklift operation
- Cashier
- Sales
- Ensure areas are clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
- Other tasks as assigned
Starting wage is $15.00 per hour, based on experience, with a comprehensive Benefit package.
