FULL-TIME KEY CARRIER (Stihl/Small Engine)
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience to include Stihl, small engine mechanic and the sale of firearms. Key Carrier position is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over various areas in the store and helps the Store Manager lead a productive team.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Pre-employment drug screen and applicable background check required
- Experience and knowledge of small engines/Stihl power equipment
- ATF Compliance and general Firearms knowledge
- Retail and management experience preferred
- Merchandising skills and experience
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Computer skills
- Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends - 40 hours per week (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control
- Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
- Repair of Stihl power equipment (chain saws, leaf blowers, mowers, tillers, snow blowers, etc.)
- Restock and organize Stihl power equipment aisles
- Firearms sales
- General Sales Clerk duties to ensure store/department is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Cashiering/Cash Handling
- Freight handling/Forklift operation
- Assisting Customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
Starting wage is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience
