FULL-TIME KEY CARRIER (Pets/Livestock/Farm)
Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience. Key Carrier is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over the Pet, Livestock, and Farm departments and helps the Store Manager lead a productive team.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Product knowledge
- Retail and management experience preferred
- Valid drivers license/Reliable transportation
- Merchandising skills/experience
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Administrative and computer skills to handle paperwork
- Detail oriented/Organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible shifts - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control
- Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
- General Sales Clerk duties to ensure departments/store is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Cashiering/Cash Handling
- Freight handling/Forklift operation
- Assist customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required. Must be able to pass an applicable background check.
Starting wage is $16.50 per hour with a comprehensive Benefit package.
